Sasha Westerman-Keuning, Esq.
Founding Partner

Founding Partner Sasha Westerman-Keuning is knowledgeable in all types of immigration case matters from work visas to family-based applications to deportation proceedings. In 2017, she became one of only 75 Board Certified Immigration Lawyers in the State of Florida. Board Certification is a rigorous testing process that ensures that an attorney's competence in an area is that of expert level and that the attorney practices law in an ethical fashion. Sasha is also a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2018-2022), a prestigious designation which less 2.5% of all Florida lawyers achieve. She has also been named a Top 40 Under 40 in Immigration Law by the National Advocates among many other awards. Sasha is AV-Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer rated standard in the field of law.

Sasha has a reputation as a national expert in LGBTQ immigration law and has been a powerful advocate for LGBT, immigrant and women’s rights for more than a decade. She is the former Chair of the LGBTQ Affairs Committee for the local chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and continues to serve on several AILA committees. She is known across the United States as an authoritative figure on LGBTQ immigration cases and has obtained hundreds of green cards on behalf of foreign nationals in same-sex marriages, including many with accompanying waiver applications, as well as dozens of K-1 fiancé(e) visas for foreign nationals in same-sex relationships.

She provides knowledgeable, professional and personal service and represents both individual and corporate clients in all types of immigration matters from employment-based visa applications to deportation proceedings. Sasha has been featured on CNN en Espanol and quoted in the Miami Herald due to her recognized expertise in the field of immigration law.

Irina Rostova, Esq.

Founding Partner Irina Rostova no longer practices immigration law, but continues to serve EB-5 investors as a Series 7 licensed investment broker. She was named a 2017 Top EB-5 attorney nationally by EB-5 Investor's Magazine. She is known as an authoritative figure in new markets for EB-5 and now exclusively focuses her work on helping EB-5 investors choose the best EB-5 projects on the market.

Additionally, she counsels developers seeking to qualify projects for EB-5 investment to ensure that they meet all EB-5 requirements and regulations. Ms. Rostova provides trusted and reliable advice for all matters related to EB-5 investing and is frequently a speaker at EB-5 conferences throughout the United States. She has been featured in the Daily Business Review as a leading attorney in South Florida's Russian community.

Jose de Wit

Jose joined the Rostova Westerman team in May 2019 and worked as an Associate Attorney for our firm until May 2021. He now runs his own law firm, De Wit Immigration Law, and shares space in our Fort Lauderdale office. He brings his exceptional education, work ethic and seven years of experience in immigration to our law group. He regularly teams up with attorney Sasha Westerman-Keuning on asylum and removal matters.

Jose graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University (FIU) with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism which has provided him with outstanding legal writing skills. After working as a journalist and editor at a local newspaper, Jose was admitted to the University of California at Berkeley, a Top 10 Law School, where he completed his juris doctorate (J.D.) degree in 2013.
